Curriculum

Language Development

Language development forms the foundation of early learning. The school focuses on building strong communication skills in both English and Tamil, enabling children to express themselves confidently.Children are introduced to language through rhymes, storytelling, phonics, and interactive activities, which help improve listening, speaking, and vocabulary. As they progress, they gradually develop pre-reading and pre-writing skills, including letter recognition, word formation, and basic comprehension.

Mathematics Basics

The curriculum introduces children to fundamental mathematical concepts in a fun and engaging way. Learning is activity-based, helping children understand numbers and patterns through real-life examples.Children develop skills such as number recognition, counting, shapes, sizes, sorting, and basic operations. Through games and hands-on activities, they build logical thinking and problem-solving abilities, forming a strong base for future mathematical learning.

Environmental Awareness

Environmental learning helps children understand the world around them. The curriculum includes topics such as plants, animals, family, seasons, weather, and community, making learning relatable and meaningful.Through activities like nature walks, observation, and simple experiments, children develop curiosity and awareness about their surroundings, encouraging them to explore and ask questions.

Social & Emotional Learning

The school places strong emphasis on social and emotional development, which is crucial during early childhood. Children are guided to understand emotions, build relationships, and develop positive behaviour.Activities are designed to encourage sharing, cooperation, empathy, and respect for others. Through group interactions and guided learning, children gain confidence, emotional stability, and the ability to express themselves freely.

Physical Development

Physical development is supported through both fine motor and gross motor activities, ensuring overall fitness and coordination.Children engage in activities such as drawing, colouring, clay modelling, and puzzles to enhance fine motor skills, while Indoor play activities, movement exercises, and games help develop strength, balance, and coordination. This ensures healthy physical growth along with active participation.

Creative Arts & Value Education

Creativity is an essential part of the curriculum, allowing children to explore their imagination and express their ideas freely. The school provides opportunities for drawing, colouring, craft work, music, dance, and role play, helping children develop artistic skills and confidence. Creative activities also enhance emotional expression and make learning more enjoyable.
Value-based education is an integral part of the curriculum, helping children develop strong moral character from an early age.Through moral stories, daily habits, and guided interactions, children learn important values such as respect, honesty, kindness, discipline, and responsibility. These values shape their behaviour and prepare them to become responsible individuals in society.
